Eggs Game Tokenomics Explained Part 1: NFT Basics, Native Token $EGGS
Welcome Farmers,
In this article, I’ll explain the 3 types of NFTs in our game, as well as give information about Eggs Game’s native token, $EGGS.
Eggs Game Gen 0 will consist of 6000 NFTs, and there will be pre-purchase rights (OG & Allowlist) for 120 MATIC. If unsold NFTs remain after the pre-sale is closed, the public sale will start with a Dutch auction, and the price will start at 696 and drop to 120 MATIC over time.
Minting Ratio for Gen 0 is as follows:
⅚ of NFTs are Chickens.
⅙ of NFTs are Snakes.
Only 30 NFTs are Roosters.
Roosters can only be minted during Gen 0, so there will only be 30 Roosters, forever. (They are kinda competitive — they don’t like to share the farm with even more Roosters)
Later generations will only be minted using our game’s native token as we want to add as much utility as possible and keep the value of our token high. Eggconomy emerged after 3 weeks of work, and in this study, we worked with the best economists in the industry; the total cap of the token and the number of stakes were made to prevent inflation of the token. Our token value will continue without losing weight from the first stage to the last step.
On the other hand, to put our token price in a rising trend, we do not put all the extra eggs on our game page and all the eggs you use to mint into the stake pool. We destroy our tokens by burning some of them.
Gen 1: #6,001 to #12,000 — will cost 7,000 $EGGS
Gen 2: #12,001 to #18,000 — will cost 14,000 $EGGS
Gen 3: #18,001 to #24,000 — will cost 28,000 $EGGS
Gen 4: #24,001 to #30,000 — will cost 56,000 $EGGS
Now let’s get to the one and only … $EGGS!
- The max $EGGS supply is 2,000,000,000 $EGGS
- When supply reaches 800,000,000 $EGGS earned for staking, the staking “faucet” turns off.
- The developers will receive 300,000,000 $EGGS
- The total cost to mint all of the Chicken and Snakes in existence will be 630,000,000 $EGGS
- The rest of the $EGGS will be distributed in the following phases of the game
- Some of the losses will be returned to the staking “faucet”
$EGGS is an ERC-20 token and the currency of the farmers in this metaverse. It is earned through staking your NFTs and can be spent on minting new characters and gambling in the games room for a chance to win more. When staked, Chickens can lay 1000 $EGGS per day.
